Trophy Awarded To HRH Princess Haya Al Hussein
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) President has awarded the Olympic Committee Trophy to HRH Princess Haya Al Hussein for her inspirational role in developing equestrian sport during her time as FEI President.

Princess Haya has held the role as President since 2006 when she was elected and then reelected in 2010, however she will be standing down this month and will not stand for a third election. The next FEI President will be decided at the FEI General Assembly on the 14th of this month.

Princess Haya who is married to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the ruler of Dubai was the first woman to to represent Jordan her native country in International equestrian sport with top results including wining an Individual Bronze medal in the 1992 Pan Arab Games.
