Horse Of The Year Show (HOYS)
HOYS is one of the high points in many show jumping and showing calendars and is only open to those who have qualified throughout the summer months making it an incredibly tough competition throughout all disciplines.

Horse Of the Year Show also has Pony Club Mounted Games, Harness Racing and the Shetland Grand National.
About HOYS
The event first began in 1949 and is one of the biggest and most respected competitions during the year and one that generates tough regional qualifiers throughout the summer months in order to qualify and gain entry to this incredible competition which runs over 5 days with daytime and evening performances along with many different showing and show jumping competitions held on each day.
Shops AT HOYS
There are around 250 trade stands at HOYS which offer no end of products for the equestrian and the horse as well as products such as art, furniture, crafts, general clothing and gifts as well as food and drink tasting opportunities, gourmet food and general snacks also available.
HOYS Displays And Attractions
On offer there are also displays and demonstrations which in the past have included dressage, heavy horse and the Household Cavalry all of which provided excellent viewing. Another popular attraction are the rider signing's which have included leading riders such as Michael Whitaker, John Whitaker, Ben Maher and Tim Stockdale.
Location
The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) is located in Birmingham, England just off the M42 with plenty of car parking available.
