The Royal International Horse Show (RIHS) runs over approximately 6 days and has a variety of different Showing and Show Jumping competitions available allowing spectators to view the very top horses and riders performing at the top level.

Special qualification is required to enter each of the various Showing and Show Jumping classes along with membership to Hickstead and the British Show Jumping Association also necessary for some classes.

Height of the Fences
This varies for each class the Queen Elizabeth 2nd Cup for example is approximately 1.60 meters high and the horses will need to travel at approximately 400 meters a minute in order to avoid picking up time penalties with all clear rounds going into a jump off, against the clock to determine the winner.

There are plenty of shops available offering food and drink opportunities, as well as clothing, tack shops and much more.

The All England Jumping Course at Hickstead is located in Sussex, between Gatwick airport and Brighton just off the A23.
