Equestrian Olympic Games • Rio de Janeiro
The vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro will be hosting the 2016 Olympic Games with the Equestrian events taking place to the west of the city at Deodoro Olympic Park.

Provisional Dates For 2016 Olympic Games will run from the 5th to the 21st August 2016 with the Paralympic Games running from the 7th to the 18th September 2016.

Location Of Equestrian Events
The equestrian events will be held at the National Equestrian Center within the vast Deodoro Sports Complex which has been carefully designed to be in line with FEI standards for International competitions and covers an area of over 1000000m squared.

The centre is currently used by the Brazilian Army Equestrian School and as an Olympic training centre and is no stranger to top class events having hosted the 2007 Pan American Games.

The National Equestrian Centre is located to the west of the city and will host both Olympic and Paralympic equestrian events, with the Deodoro Complex also hosting the Aquatics centre, Deodoro stadium, Olympic Hockey Centre, Olympic Shooting Centre, Youth Arena and the X Park where the Mountain Bike Centre, Olympic BMX Centre and White water Stadium are all located.
