Great Britain Lead The Grand Prix
It was another exciting day of Grand Prix dressage at Greenwich which has ended with Team Great Britain at the top of the leader board going into the Grand Prix Special on Tuesday after an outstanding performance by Charlotte Dujardin on Valegro.

Charlotte Dujardin currently also at the top of the individual leader board after posting a score of 83.784% on Carl Hester and Mrs. Roly Luard's 10 year old horse Valegro who performed superbly to the delight of the home crowd and putting Team Great Britain into poll position on a team score of 79.4 just ahead of Germany on 78.8% and in third are the Netherlands on 76.8% after impressive performances today from Edward Gal riding Undercover and Adelinde Cornelissen.

Adelinde Cornelissen (NED) riding Parzival also broke into the 80's performing a solid 81.6 to put them into 2nd place and German riders Helen Langehanenberg riding Damon Hill and Kristina Sprehe riding Desperados both impressed the judges with scores of 81.1% and 79.1% respectively.

Great Britain's individual rider Richard Davison also performed a super test with the mighty Artemis, despite being drenched by the British weather before his test to leave them in 18th position individually. Edward Gal who originally trained and rode the world famous Totilas to such success is currently in 11th position after a masterfully ridden test on the young and expressive Undercover.

The top seven teams and leading 11 individuals will now go through to the Grand Prix Special on Tuesday 7th to determine the Team medals with the total scores of the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special all counting for the team.

The Grand Prix Special will also determine the leading 18 individual riders who will go through to the all important Grand Prix Freestyle on Thursday 9th which decides the Individual medal winners.
