Steve Anderton Has Died Following Tragic Accident
Popular New Zealand racehorse trainer Steve Anderton has died after a tragic accident involving his horse transporter at his own Wingatui stables.

Despite being rushed to Dunedin Hospital Steve Anderton who would have been 44 next month could not recover from his injuries and sadly died.

The feature race on Friday meeting at the Otago Racing Club, will feature the $70,000 Group 3 Robe Lodge, which will be run in his honour.
