Maher Takes The Olympia Grand Prix At Olympia
Great Britain's Ben Maher has won the international 1.60m Olympia Grand Prix at London's Olympia Horse Show, riding the up and coming mare Diva II.

The grand prix track proved very testing and was every bit up to height and width with plenty of tight turns and testing lines, with only five combinations going through to the jump off and only three of those went double clear.

Ben Maher riding the young and talented chestnut 9 year old Diva II put in a superb performance to take the title on 40.17 seconds with Malkel Van der Vleuten (NED) riding the 9 year old bay mare VDL Groep Arera C right on their heels with a jump off time of 40.66 seconds to finish in second.

Frenchman Kevin Staut riding Ayade de Septon et Hdc finished in third with another fast and clear jump off, of 40.96 seconds and Great Britain's Scott Brash and John Whitaker finishing fourth and fifth respectively, in what proved a very tough Grand Prix Final.
