AP McCoy Sets New Record
Champion jockey AP McCoy has recorded his 4,000th winner aboard Mountain Tunes who is trained by Jonjo O'Neill and owned by JP McManus at Towcester, more than any other National Hunt jockey to date.

The popular jockey has also been Champion Jockey for 18 consecutive years from the 1995-96 season through to the 2012-2013 season. Amongst other awards AP McCoy has also been appointed an MBE in 2003 as well as an OBE in 2010 for his services to horse racing.

Included amongst AP McCoy's wins are a Grand National Title in 2010 riding Don't Push It, a Queen Mother Champion Chase in 2000 riding Edredon Bleu, a King George VI Chase in 2002 riding Best Mate, three Champion Hurdle titles in 1997 riding Make a Stand, in 2006 riding Brave Inca and in 2012 riding Binocular.

AP McCoy has also won two prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup's in 1997 riding Mr Mulligan and in 2012 riding Synchronised.
