Fatal Accident At Barroca d'Alva
During the Barroca d'Alva horse trials which take place in Portugal on the 2nd of March, experienced French rider Mr Bruno Bouvier suffered a fatal accident whilst out on the cross country phase of the CIC2*.

Mr Bouvier was riding the 10 year old gelding Arcilloso III on the cross country phase when at the triple brush at fence 5 the pair suffered a rotational fall that proved fatal for Bruno Bouvier with the horse unhurt in the fall.

Bouvier was a regular competitor at many of the leading three day events including Burghley, Blenheim and Badminton which he and his horse Harry completed on an impressive 5 occasions.
