Headley Britannia To Retire At Badminton
The popular bay mare ridden to great success by Lucinda Fredericks is set to be officially retired at Badminton Horse Trials on Monday 7th of May.

The 15.3 HH mare who was foaled in 1993 out of Sire Jumbo and Dam Alans Bambi had several wins at top 4* level including winning Burghley in 2006, Badminton in 2007 and Lexington Kentucky in 2009 as well as winning at numerous other events including the Hickstead Eventing Derby and claiming a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.

Headley Britannia will now enjoy competing at a much lower level as well as continuing with her breeding career through embryo transfer.

The prestigious event takes place from the Thursday the 3rd of May to Monday the 7th May at the Duke of Beaufort's Estate at Badminton, Gloucestershire.
