Badminton Horse Trials Cancelled
Huge disappointment as the well known and prestigious Badminton Horse Trials is cancelled due to the exceptional run of bad weather which has left the course waterlogged.

The event which takes place at the Duke of Beaufort's fabulous estate is one of eventing's most popular 4 star events and one that draws the very best competitors from around the world to compete for the highly sought after trophy. This years entry list was no exception with William Fox-Pitt fresh from his Kentucky win and last years's winner Mark Todd amongst those entered and with the start of the Olympics less than 90 days away it would have been an incredibly competitive "Badders"!

Badminton Horse Trials, which has been running since 1949 has incredibly only been cancelled on four other occasions which was in 1966, 1975, 1987 and 2001.

The event has also left all the Grassroots Championship competitors incredibly disappointed who, after having qualified for the Championships will be unable to compete at this historic venue.
