French Trotter Horse
This beautiful horse has great speed, strength and stamina and is used for racing under saddle, in harness and for the sport of skijoring which is a race on snow where the driver is on skies behind the horse.

Bay, brown, black and chestnut.
In the 1800's the French Trotter was bred for trotting races it has thoroughbred, norfolk, roadster and standardbred influences. It became a recognized breed in 1922.

The French Trotter can trot nearly as fast as a thoroughbred can gallop.
