Horse Rescued From Quagmire
A bay mare has had a very lucky escape after falling into a freezing quagmire on a farm in Slough, Berkshire.

The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue team used their considerable expertise to help pull the horse safely up the steep bank and out of the freezing water and difficult muddy conditions which would have taken their toll on the mare if she had remained in the bog for much longer.

The mare was safely returned to the owner, thankfully with no injuries.
