John Whitaker Wins Gucci World Cup
Great Britain's John Whitaker has won the hotly contested Gucci Grand Prix at the Longines Hong Kong Masters riding the incredibly talented 13 year old stallion Argento.

The stallion who is owned by John and his wife Claire put in an exceptionally good performance to finish just fractionally ahead of Jessica Mendoza (GBR) riding the 14year bay mare Spirit T who is out of Tornado and Carnival Drum, with Scott Brash in third place with the popular Hello Annie who was also clear in the jump off round.

The Longines Hong Kong Masters is now in its third year of running and forms part of the lucrative Masters Grand Slam whereby any competitor who manages to win all three of the Grand Prix's in Hong Kong, Paris and Los Angeles will win €1,000000, with €500,000 for any rider who can win two consecutive grand slam wins and €250,000 for any rider who can win two out three of the Grand Slam's that are included in this exciting Masters challenge.
