Skelton Wins Aachen Grand Prix
 Nick Skelton (GBR) has had a superb Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen wining the title on the powerful bay stallion Big Star who is owned by Beverley Widdowson.

The talented stallion Big Star was the only horse to perform a triple clear during the competition in what proved to be an incredibly testing 1.60m track.

After Nick only Janika Sprunger (SUI) riding Palloubet d'Halong and Patrice Delaveau (FRA) riding Orient Express HDC performed double clears, both picking up 4 faults in the final jump off with Janika taking second place just ahead of Patrice in a thrilling final.

Germany's high class competition is one of three within the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping which will award €1,000,000 bonus to any rider who consecutively wins the Grand Prix's in Aachen, Spruce Meadows and Geneva.

The CSIO 5* takes place at Spruce Meadows Masters from the 5th to the 9th of September and the CHI Geneva takes place from the 12th to the 15th of December 2013 in Switzerland.
