Madden Wins FEI World Cup Qualifier
The hotly contested $125,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier that was presented by Spy Coast Farm at the Winter Equestrian Festival was won by Beezie Madden riding the impressive black Belgian Warmblood gelding Cortes C, who is owned by Abiail Wexner

The pair posted the fastest jump off time to inch ahead of Katherine Dinan riding Nougat Du Vallet in what was a very close and tense jump off. Also in the competition was Nick Skelton riding Big Star and Ben Maher riding Cella who both had an unfortunate fence down in their very quick final jump off.

The $35,000 G&C Puissance is another popular event to feature in the festival and is always a great event for the spectators who last year witnessed Paul O'Shea riding Michael Hayden's Hanoverian gelding Primo Level clear the infamous red wall at 2.02m.
