Mary King Wins Kentucky
Mary King riding the ever impressive Kings Temptress have taken the Rolex Kentucky horse trials trophy.
Mary King who was fourth after the dressage phase then went into the lead after a superb and fault free cross country round and an equally cool show jumping round on the beautiful bay that is owned by Derek Rostron Baden to finish on a score of 47.7.
What is also impressive is that King was also second on her other ride Fernhill Urco who remained in that position throughout the event and performed an excellent dressage test of 41.7 and only picked up 8 time penalties on the cross country course and went clear around the show jumping.
In third place was Sinead Halpin riding the chestnut gelding Manoir De Carneville who moved up from 8th place after the dressage to third after riding a clear show jumping round.
