Lucy Weigersma Wins The CCI*** At Blenheim Horse Trials
This years Blenheim Horse Trials has been won by Lucy Weigersma riding Granntevka Prince, despite tough competition from Emily Baldwin, Izzy Taylor and Daisy Dick.
It was Allison Springer who took the lead after the dressage phase on a score of 36.9 riding Arthur. Unfortunately they incurred cross country penalties and show jumping penalties which dropped them down into 22nd.
Lucy Weigersma's clear cross country and inside the time allowed her to go into the lead with Emily Baldwin, Daisy Dick and Andrew Nicholson all very close behind.
Pippa Funnel who was 5th after the dressage riding Ensign incurred both jumping and time penalties on the cross country course.
Izzy Taylor jumped a clear show jumping round riding Briarlands Matilda and were rewarded with 3rd place.
Daisy Dick lowered a pole which dropped her into 4th place as did Emily Baldwin who stayed in second position allowing Lucy Weigersma a fence in hand which she used up on her show jumping round to retain the lead and win this years Blenheim Horse Trials with Granntevka Prince.

- Final score of 49.4
- 2nd Place - Emily Baldwin riding Drivetime
- Final score of 50.5
- 3rd Place - Izzy Taylor riding Briarlands Matilda
- Final score of 53.9
- 4th Place - Daisy Dick riding Spring Along
- Final score of 54
- 5th Place - Andrew Nicholson riding Mr Cruise Control
- Final score of 54.2
- 6th Place - Melanie Wilder riding Minuteman
- Final score of 54.6
