Dirk Schrade Wins Pau CCI****
Congratulations go to Dirk Schrade who rode the beautiful dark bay gelding King Artus brilliantly to claim the international horse trials at Pau in France.
Dirk who was 5th after the dressage, performed clear around the testing cross country course and with a clear show jumping round gave the over night leader Oliver Townend only one fence in hand on the final day.
Oliver Townend who had performed an excellent dressage test and remained at the top of the leader board after the cross country riding his Burghley winner Carousel Quest, unfortunately had 7 show jumps down which dropped them into 8th place.
Andreas Dibowski finished in second place riding Euroridings Butts Leon after performing an excellent clear show jumping round.
And third place went to Pascal Leroy riding Minos De Petra.
