The International Equestrian Federation Awards
At the end of this years FEI General Assembly, five awards were given out for Best Rider, Best Groom, Against All Odds Award, The Alltech Development Award and the HSBC Rising Star Award.
The Best Rider Award went very deservingly to leading German show jumper Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum who riding Shutterfly has won the FEI Rolex World Cup for the second time.
The Best Groom Award went to Michelle Robson from Australia who works for the event rider Shane Rose.
The Against All Odds Award went to Darlene Milord who performed at the special Olympics despite being severely handicapped.
The Alltech Development Award went to Wendy Gidlow for her excellent work with under privileged children at Heritage Equestrian which she manages in South Africa.
And the HSBC Rising Star Award went to 19 year old Alex Hua Tin from China for his accomplishments in eventing.
