Tattersalls Horse Trials
The HSBC FEI World Cup Eventing Qualifier at Tattersalls Horse Trials in Dublin was a huge success with
Irelands own Patricia Ryan riding Fernhill Clover Mist winning this prestigious event.
Patricia Ryan was closely followed by husband Michael Ryan riding Old Road who finished 1.4 penalties behind her and finished in second place.
There were 56 starters in total from seven nations, Ireland, Australia, Great Britain, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden.
The event all came together in the final show jumping where a clear round moved Patricia up from 4th place to 1st to finish on a final score of 57.6. Michael Ryans clear show jumping round also moved him up from 7th place into 2nd to finish on a score of 59.
Mary King from Great Briton had one fence down in the show jumping to move her into 3 rd place on a final score of 60.4 with the always impressive Imperial Cavalier. Mary King also had success with her two other rides Fernhill Urco who finished in 6th place on 66.8 and Kings Temptress who finished 11th.
Piggy French from Great Briton unfortunately had two fences down in the show jumping and dropped into 5th place.
Oliver Townend from Great Briton riding Jackson d'Allez unfortunately had 8 fences down and dropped into 24th position.
