Royal Ascot - History Made At The Gold Cup
The Gold Cup at Royal Ascot has been won for the fourth time by Yeats ridden by jockey Johnny Murtagh.
Yeats who is the son of Sadler's Wells is trained by Aidan O'Brien and is the first horse to achieve four Gold Cup wins in a row.
The only other horses to make a serious challenge to Yeats during the race was Patkai who finished second and Geordieland who finished in third place, but even they couldn't stop Yeats who powered ahead to make history.
