FEI To Launch New Doping And Medication Programme.

The FEI (Federation Equestrian International) is to launch its new Doping and Medication programme which will outline specifically all substances used on horses and will state if it is a banned substance that is not permitted for use by competition horses or if the substance can be used out of competition only.

The programme will be regularly updated by vets and penalties for those found doping horses will be much more severe as a result.

The doping and medication programme is due to come into affect on January the 1st 2010
