Racing Abandoned At Worcester
Excessively hot temperatures took its toll on Highland Laddie who collapsed after the first race at Worcester Racecourse after finishing in third place.
After receiving cooling treatment Highland Laddie fully recovered but with temperatures soaring the decision was taken to abandon all of the days races in the interests of horse welfare.
