The Longines King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead was won by british rider Peter Charles riding the impressive black stallion Murkas Pall Mall H who performed a double clear round to take the title and £50,000 in prize money.
In second place was Tim Stockdale riding Fresh Direct Corlato, who despite doing an excellent time of 86.7 picked up 4 faults for a fence down.
In third place was Ben Maher riding the impressive bay gelding Robin Hood W who also put in an excellent time but picked up 4 faults for a knock down.
In fourth place was frenchman Oliver Guillon riding Lord De Theize who also performed an quick round but picked up 4 faults.
