Karl Burke Receives Racing Ban

One Year Ban For Karl Burke
The British Horse racing Authority have banned Karl Burke for 1 year following a lengthy investigation into race fixing.
The Yorkshire trainer who runs Spigot Lodge stables in Middleham, admitted to passing information on to Miles Rodgers, who profited by betting on Burkes horses to lose.
Miles Rodgers was also involved with jockeys Fergal Lynch and Darren Williams who have both received fines and been banned for three months. Miles Rodgers has been "warned off" for life.
