FEI Investigates Sheik Mohammed's Horse
A horse owned by Sheik Mohammed is being investigated by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) after it tested positive for two banned substances.
The horse Tahhan, which is owned by Sheik Mohammed and on whom he competes in the sport of endurance racing in the United Arab Emirates has tested positive and is under investigation.
Sheik Mohammed has imposed a competition ban on himself and has started his own investigation into the matter as well as fully cooperating with the FEI. His second wife, Princess Haya, is president of the FEI and has passed the investigation over to Mr Chris Hodson, second vice-president of the FEI to ensure that there is no conflict of interests.
