Equine Bronchitis In Horses
This is inflammation of the bronchi within the lungs of the horse.
Cause
Bronchitis is caused by a virus or bacteria.
Symptoms
- The horse will have a persistent cough.
- The horse will be producing phlegm.
- They may be depressed.
- They frequently lose their appetite.
- They may have difficulty in breathing.
- Breathing may be noisy for example they may wheeze.
- When blood tested there would be an increased amounts of white blood cells.
- The horse may have a temperature.
