Tersk Horse
These good looking horses from Russia are predominantly grey and are similar in build to that of the Arab. With there amenable nature they make excellent all round riding horses.

Height
Height is 14.3 to 15 HH,

Colour
Is is usually grey.

Conformation

The head is well defined with large eye and a slight Arab dish to the front of the face.
Withers are well defined.
The neck is a good length.
The shoulders are a good length
The back is short strong .
The girth is deep.
The limbs are long strong and slender
Mane and tail are both thin.

Origins Caucasus region in Russia.

History
The breed takes its name from the Tersk stud where it was developed by using breeds such as Arab and Budyonay horses and crossing them with Don, Strelets and Kabardins to give the end result you see today which is a fast horse with great endurance qualities.

As a general riding horse and endurance.
