Danish Warmblood Horse
This beautiful looking horse has great athleticism combined with a willing temperament and enormous scope for success.

Height
15 to 16.3 HH.

Colour
Bay, brown, black, grey and chestnut.

Conformation

The head is defined and expressive with a kind eye and good sized nostrils.
The neck is long, muscular and gently curving leading on to a well defined wither and strong sloping shoulder.
The back is short and strong.
The hindquarters are powerful and the limbs are strong and well proportioned.
The girth is deep and the chest is wide.
The tail is well set on with a moderately thick tail.

History
Bred by the danes for the purposes of being a competition horse. Influential breeds such as the Hanoverian, Holstein and Trakehner were mixed with local Knabstrup and Frederiksborg horses to produce the horse we know today.
